FROM OUR PRESIDENT
Welcome to Our Chapter
Welcome to the official website of the Nassau Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated. The ladies of Nassau Alumnae Chapter (NAC) are honored to welcome you and thank you for visiting our virtual home.
In 1913, twenty-two visionary women founded Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, a not-for-profit organization of college-educated women committed to the constructive development of its members and to public service, with a primary focus on the Black community. Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated currently boasts a membership of more than 300,000 women in over 1,000 chapters across the United States and abroad.
The women in this organization exemplify dedication to an extensive array of public service programs with a specific focus on five areas: educational development, economic development, international awareness and involvement, political awareness and involvement, and physical & mental health.
